To the editor of THE EAGLE:
Election season is here, the lawns are filled with signs of those they support, and folks are busy hosting events of all sorts. I always take time to think about the people behind the candidates, the ones who put in all the hours for the campaign, the spouses who support them. Which lead me to be the wonderful Krols.
John is who the Ward 6 city councilor, has done a marvelous work in the community. I can look out my window when driving through the neighborhood and actually not be distracted by an abandoned house that I’m thankful for, or when I drive toward Conte Community School, a traffic light is now there to safely direct traffic. The dedication to "Good Morning Pittsfield," an amazing show that highlights what’s happening in and around the community.
There are so many things to name, but what always stood out to me about John, was his amazing wife Allison; she’s right there, ready to roll up her sleeves, and do what is needed to support his endeavors, as well as her family and his. The strong sense of compassion, genuineness, and commitment is why I’d always recommend him as the right fit for this ward.
John Krol is for the community, and goes great lengths to show people that he doesn’t take his position lightly. So when you hit the polls, and you happen to live in Ward 6, remember the track record of my great friend, and vote for the Ward 6 warrior!
