A North Adams couple sought by Massachusetts authorities was apprehended in Connecticut on Wednesday, according to a report today by The (Hartford) Courant on courant.com.
Massachusetts State Police had feared for the safety of their 20-year-old special needs child. The child was unharmed and care was being arranged for him, The Courant reported.
Patrick and Debra Gaffey of North Adams were described as suicidal and intent on doing harm to their child, Hartford Police told The Courant.
The Gaffeys face charges in Hartford, according to The Courant. Patrick Gaffey also is wanted on warrant related to a breaking and entering case in North Adams.
