PITTSFIELD -- Tuesday's midday snowstorm resulted in 16 minor accidents being reported in the city of Pittsfield between noon and 5 p.m.

There were no injuries reported in any of the incidents. At least two different telephone poles were struck.

The accidents occurred at Fort Hill Avenue, West Street, Williams Street, Kara Drive, North Street, Hancock Road, Newell Street, Lyman Street, Waconah Street, Charles Street, Pecks Road, Parkside Avenue, Elm Street, Holmes Road, Doreen Street, Worthington Street and Henry Avenue.

Elm Street and Williams Street each had three accidents.

Am estimated one to three inches of snow fell in Pittsfield and throughout Berkshire County throughout the day.

The National Weather Service has issued a black ice advisory for Wednesday due to freezing temperatures and residual moisture from Tuesday's snowfall.

Light snowfall is possible during the day and considered likely around midnight.
