I would just like to thank Dan Kelly for reminding me to slow down and appreciate Christmas, as he also does at Easter. The large lit cross hanging high in the sky behind Kelly's Diner is a wonderful reminder of what Christmas is supposed to symbolize.

I always see it as I am heading off to one of the big box stores. The sight of the cross reminds me not to get so crazed and to be grateful for the blessings already bestowed on me. It just seems to be in the perfect place amid all the Christmas commercialism.

I hope everyone who is stuck at a traffic light by Kelly's Diner takes a minute to look up and reflect.
