To the editor of THE EAGLE:
While it was raining so hard last week, UPS threw a package on my front step. It got soaked and just about ruined the contents. The package was wrapped in plain cardboard.
I was home all day and you would have thought the driver could have at least rang the doorbell. This happened in the late afternoon but sometimes they deliver when its late, so the package sits out there all night.
Busy or not, people pay for these packages, so please try to use your common sense and either wrap plastic around them or ring the doorbell. When I called to complain I was told the driver would be reprimanded. Too little, too late.
