SHEFFIELD -- The Mount Greylock wrestling team got plenty of wins by pin Tuesday night to earn a dual win on the road, beating Mount Everett 52-24.

With four wins by pin and C.J. Lillie's major-decision victory over Nick Scapin at 145 pounds, the Mounties were able to withstand Everett's wins by Bradley Lupiani (126), Nick Turnbough (182) and Matt Lane (285).

"They're starting to show some fight," Everett coach Dan Lanoue said.

Everett missed three days of practice in the last week, plus New Year's Day.

"I think some guys wrestled tough," Lanoue said. "Nick Scapin is improving from his previous years. Even though he lost, he showed promise."
