PITTSFIELD -- A 29-year-old North Adams man was in critical condition on Wednesday after being stabbed in broad daylight in Pittsfield, according to Pittsfield police.
The victim, who was not identified, allegedly was stabbed at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Seymour Street, Capt. John Mullin said.
Police were at Berkshire Medical Center on a separate matter when the victim entered the emergency room with stab wounds about 2:21 p.m., Mullin said.
Police are looking for a light-skinned Hispanic male believed to be in his early 20's, Mullin said. The suspect was allegedly wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt and jeans. He is described as about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 135 pounds.
