With winter winding down, hopefully, I'd like to give a shout-out to the men of small, hill town departments of public works.

We live on the outskirts of Adams, up in the hills. I travel every morning to Pittsfield via Adams, Cheshire and Lanesborough. My husband Leo travels through Adams, Cheshire and the winding hills of Savoy. We never have the opportunity to call in late or not go to work at all

You all do an incredible job of keeping our roads clear and safe. I am especially thankful for the removal of the huge snow banks on the sides of the roads. Again, thank you to the small town DPWs of the Berkshires.
