Time Warner Cable continues to invent new ways to squeeze water from a stone. It is now charging us for "the guide," which we already had. It did that before with the modem. There are also increases up and down its recent billing statement. I encourage everyone to call and/or write and complain about this newest ploy.
I will tell you to be prepared for false empathy and pretzel logic when you do finally reach a human being. When customer service runs out of script, the fallback -- "Is there anything else I can help you with today?" -- is invoked.
I can’t wait until they figure out a way to charge us for our own TV sets.
