LEE -- A local man was fined $590 and ordered to pay restitution of $2,500 to a local McDonald's after submitting to facts sufficient for a guilty finding to four counts of larceny over $250.

The case of Juan C. Bermudez, 30, of New Lenox Road, Lenox, was continued without a finding until Nov. 10.

Prosecutors alleged that on four separate instances between July 30 and Sept. 20 of 2013, Bermudez, a manger at the business, failed to deposit the receipts for the Lee McDonald's restaurant.

After voluntarily turning himself in to the police on Sept. 24, 2013, Bermudez initially insisted the lost money was a bank error, before eventually confessing to the crimes.
