MILFORD (AP) -- Dive teams have recovered the body of a teenager from Rhode Island who went missing while swimming in a Massachusetts quarry.

Authorities say the body of 18-year-old Nentor Dahn of Providence, Rhode Island, was found at about 10:15 a.m. Monday in about 60 feet of water and 10 feet from the wall of Fletcher Quarry in Milford. An autopsy is scheduled.

Witnesses say Dahn jumped about 50 feet from a ledge early Sunday afternoon, landed in the water awkwardly and did not resurface.

He was swimming in the privately-owned quarry with several friends.

Police say the water is 100 feet deep in some areas and is full of debris, including old cars.

Police say keeping trespassers away from the dangerous quarries in the area is almost impossible.
