PITTSFIELD -- The driver of the car that crashed into a wall outside Pittsfield High School in January, killing himself and a passenger, was under the influence of drugs, according to Pittsfield Police.

An investigation by the Pittsfield Police Department's Accident Investigation Unit also revealed that the car was traveling at more than 100 mph when the crash occurred.

Ernest Duck Jr., 31, of Pittsfield, had PCP, known as angel dust, and marijuana, in his bloodstream when he crashed his 2013 Nissan Altima outside the school,

Both Duck and a passenger, Tariq Salley, 24, of Pittsfield, were killed in the crash. Salley also was found to be under the influence of drugs.
