MONTGOMERY, Vt. (AP) -- Rescuers have come to the aid of a hiker who list his way on the Long Trail in Vermont.
Police say 32-year-old Russell Mohammad of Massachusetts was hiking alone on the trial and left it to camp out overnight Sunday. He then could not find his way back.
WCAX-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1oTXzaY) he called for assistance and multiple crews responded. He was found around 5:40 p.m. Sunday after a 5 1/2-hour search.
State Police Lt. Kirk Cooper said Mohammad was cold and wet, but in good health.
