In Southern Berkshire District Court on Thursday:

Matthew W. Swift, 47, of Park Street, Housatonic, was found not guilty on one charge each of assault and assault and battery.

Dillon T. Cloran, 38, of Bay State Road, Pittsfield, submitted to sufficient facts for a guilty finding to one count each of leaving the scene of an accident and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He was fined $350 and his case was continued without a finding until Sept. 22. He was found not responsible to one count each of a marked lanes violation and speeding.

David H. Ross, 20, of Redmond, Ore., submitted to sufficient facts for a guilty finding to one count of being a person under 21 in possession of alcohol in connection with an incident on Aug. 25 in Sheffield. He was fined $100. He was found not responsible to charges of violation of the Open Container Law and driving outside marked lanes.

Francis Talkowski, Jr., 23, of Main Street, Great Barrington, submitted to facts sufficient for a guilty finding to one count each of driving after suspension of license and possession of a class C substance. He was fined $520. He was found not responsible to one count each of speeding, failure to signal and violating the Open Container Law.

Emily Nowell, 26, of Conz Street, Northampton, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in connection with an incident on Aug. 24.

She was fined $465, ordered to surrender her license for 45 days and ordered to report to an alcohol education program. She was found not responsible for a car lights violation.

Jarrett Robitaille, 27, of Crane Avenue in Pittsfield, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in connection with an incident on July 19. He was fined $700, ordered to surrender his license for 45 days and required to complete an alcohol education program. He was found not responsible to a charge of speeding.
