DEDHAM >> A Boston man convicted of fatally stabbing a 22-year-old Milton man at his own home has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Nathaniel Brown was sentenced Wednesday in Norfolk Superior Court after a series of impact statements from the victim's family. The 32-year-old Brown was found guilty Tuesday of murder in the April 2013 death of Jordan Baskin.
Prosecutors say Brown chased Baskin to his home before stabbing him multiple times, including once in the heart. Baskin was found by his father on the home's back porch.
Brown was indicted after investigators spent several months piecing together fingerprint, forensic and other evidence.
Prosecutors say the killing was drug related.
The defense said there was not enough evidence to convict.
