PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Scrutiny in Rhode Island a day after tourism officials yanked a video that included a scene from Iceland has led to the discovery of another error.

The smallest state has less than 2 percent of the nation's historic landmarks, not the 20 percent listed on the newly redesigned website.

State officials pulled the video off YouTube in embarrassment on Tuesday because it showed a prominent concert hall in Reykjavik.

A Rhode Island Public Radio reporter tweeted Wednesday about the statistic. The National Park Service lists more than 2,500 national historic landmarks. Rhode Island has 45, or less than 2 percent, and no state has 20 percent.

Officials responsible for the campaign didn't immediately respond to requests for comment.

Archived versions of the website show the statistic listed as early as 2008.
