MILTON, MASS. >> A Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation ranger has been charged with setting up a camera to video women using a staff bathroom at the Houghton's Pond Bathhouse in Milton.
Raymond McKinnon pleaded not guilty Monday to charges including unlawful wiretaps, photographing an unsuspecting nude person, and placing a device to violate wiretap laws. Bail was set at $10,000.
An investigation was launched in late July after another department employee noticed a pen with a small green light flashing while using the unisex bathroom.
The employee gave the pen camera to authorities, who reviewed the images it captured and conducted interviews that led to McKinnon.
McKinnon's attorney says his client has no criminal record and has given up his firearms license.
The 30-year-old McKinnon became a full-time department employee in 2008.
