CONCORD, N.H. (AP) -- Ray Buckley of Manchester has been elected to a new term as chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party.

The party’s state committee on Saturday elected Buckley to a fourth term as state chair. He previously served four terms as the state party’s vice chair and served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives for 18 years. He currently serves as president of the Association of State Democratic Chairs and vice chair of the Democratic National Committee.

Also elected Saturday were state Sen. Martha Fuller Clark of Portsmouth as first vice chair, Dorothy Solomon of Albany as second vice chair, state Sen. Bette Lasky of Nashua as party secretary, Brian Rapp of Claremont as treasurer, Dan McKenna of Derry as party legal counsel, and six members of the state party’s rules committee.
