Kermit Gosnell was just convicted of murdering children by decapitating them with scissors. This ghoul will escape the death penalty by giving up his right to an appeal. His sentence is now reduced to life in prison.
Gosnell would have gotten away with these killings if he had not been greedy and attracted the attention of the Drug Enforcement Agency. Had he been satisfied with the $1.8 million he made annually by providing abortion services, he would not have been operating an illegal prescription pill mill and no investigation would have been launched.
This gruesome case proves that it is time to question the sacrosanct "right to choose." A new unique DNA is created at the moment of conception. Forensic scientists can detect two human beings in cases involving pregnant women. Any thinking adult knows that using the reproductive organs naturally results in reproduction.
However, too many are deciding that their aspirations and talents are more important to this world than those of their children. Children have been denied all the life experiences that we have enjoyed because someone felt they were more important and did not want to disrupt their life. This cowardly abdication of parental responsibility must either stop or be our downfall.
Abortion has taken over 55 million out of the workforce since 1973. Most of these people would be paying taxes, contributing to society and propagating future contributors.
What will it take for America to wake up? The Sandy Hook massacre rallied the gun control advocates despite gun crimes being down 69 percent since 1993.
Whereas, the children murdered by Gosnell are forgotten because they do not advance the liberal agenda. There should have been a great outcry because as President Obama said "This is our first task -- caring for our children. It’s our first job. If we don’t get that right, we don’t get anything right. That’s how, as a society, we will be judged." PETE FUSINI
