Jeffrey Lockowitz, 53, of Lexington Street, South Hadley, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count of shoplifting. His case was continued without a finding until Nov. 28.

Chauncey C. Hughes, 35, of Cemetery Road, Canaan, Conn., submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count each of leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to yield in an intersection. His case was continued without a finding.

Henry J. Fuore, 25, of Hartsville-New Marlborough Road, Great Barrington, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count each of leaving the scene of an accident and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He was placed on administrative probation until Nov. 28, 2016. He was found not responsible to charges of speeding, operating a motor vehicle with no inspection sticker and failure to stay in the proper lane.

Monday, August 1

Nicole Fields, 31, of Francis Avenue, Pittsfield, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count each of shoplifting and trespassing. Her case was continued without a finding.

A charge of operating under the influence of drugs against Trevor R. Smith, 47, of Quinn Street, Canaan, Conn., was dismissed. He was found not responsible to a charge of driving outside marked lanes.

Samantha Sperlonga, 19, of David Avenue, lee, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to two counts of assault and battery. Her case was continued without a finding until April 3, 2017.

Robert T. Renzo, 70, of Nottingham Court, Becket, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. he was placed on probation until May 1, 2017.

Johanna C. Nadeau, 26, of Palmer Road, Three Rivers, was found guilty of possession of a class C substance and driving a motor vehicle after suspension. She was sentenced to 14 days in jail. She was found not responsible to a charge of having a light out on her vehicle.

Miles L. Hayford, 41, of Wolf Swamp Road, Lanesborough, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He was ordered to attend an alcohol education program, ordered to surrender his license for 60 days and his case was continued without a finding until August 3, 2017. He was found responsible for driving outside marked lanes. A charge of leaving the scene of a property damage accident was dismissed.
