PITTSFIELD -- The Pittsfield High School golf team earned a 170-190 win over Wahconah on the par-35 front nine at the Country Club of Pittsfield, getting a 38 from Adam Brickle. Freshman Connor McDonough shot a 47 for the hosts, getting his score to count in his first varsity match.

"[Brickle's] playing really well," said Pittsfield coach Chris Polidoro. "When he makes a double he doesn't get down on himself. He's a really good captain. To be honest, I see a future with him in golf."

The Warriors were led by a 42 from Cam Collins. The win helped the Generals, who are already in the Western Mass. tournament, clinch the North.
