PITTSFIELD -- It was all Mount Greylock at Berkshire Community College on Wednesday.
The Mounties’ boys cross country runners took the entire top 10 and 15 of the top 17 spots, winning a pair of duals. Will Kirby earned his first-ever race victory.
No boys times were available due to a timer malfunction at the course.
On the girls side, Greylock’s Kat Chenail held off teammate Emily Kaegi by a second, as Greylock runners took five of the top six spots and seven of the top 10. Chenail won in 21 minutes, 37 seconds, and Greylock’s girls won duals over Drury and Mount Everett.
In boys duals, Greylock beat Drury and Everett (both 15-50); Everett beat BART (20-38) and St. Joe’s (15-50); BART beat St. Joe’s (15-50); and Drury beat the Crusaders (15-50).
BART’s Dylan Quinn was 11th; Mount Everett’s Ilya Dempsey was 12th; and Drury’s Kody Crosier was 22nd.
In girls duals, St. Joe’s won duals over BART (17-41) and Drury (20-36); Greylock beat Drury and Mount Everett (both 15-50); BART beat Everett (15-50); and St. Joe’s beat Everett (15-50).
The Crusaders earned two top-10 finishes Wednesday. Kate Murphy ran the course in 22:18 to take third place, while teammate Christina Longstreeth was seventh in 23:31.
Drury’s top finisher was Tia Brown in 23:42. Claudia Martin was the Eagles’ best runner (13th,

LENOX -- The Millionaires outpointed the Crusaders in a fairly heavy rainstorm at the par-35 back nine at Cranwell.
"It was a rainy, cold day," Lenox coach Dick Salinetti said. "Given the circumstances, we did pretty well."
