GREAT BARRINGTON - For two quarters, the Monument Mountain girls basketball team more than hung with Central Massachusetts power Quaboag. The third quarter came, and that changed everything.

Monument rallied from a 15-11 first- quarter deficit and trailed 23-22 at halftime. That one-point third quarter did the Spartans in.
Brittany Herring had a game- high 18 points for Quaboag, while Jess Korzec had 12.
