Monument led 3-2 at halftime, but Putnam's Jaytoe Teh tied the game with his third goal at 44:02. Six minutes later, Masiero passed the ball to Hutchinson on that give and go, and Hutchinson nailed a shot into the net. It was the first of three second-half tallies that put the Spartans into the quarterfinals.
"In the second half, we did a much better job of moving the ball," said Monument coach Mike Powell."We did a better job finishing our chances."
Jordan Storti had two goals for the Spartans, Masiero had a goal and two assists while Andy Ringler added two assists.
Lenox 9, Ware 0
WARE -- It's rare that teams score four goals in a game. Lenox more than doubled that in the first round of the Division II Western Mass. Tournament against Ware, tallying nine scores in the game.
"It was just a mismatch," Lenox coach Jim Benson said. "This game was the payoff for us having to play the most difficult schedule that I've seen."
Benson said that it was the most one-sided victory he has ever been a part of.

Easthampton 3, Drury 0
EASTHAMPTON -- The 11th-seeded Blue Devils (3-13-3) fell behind 3-0 at halftime and couldn't recover.
"We had opportunities. We hit the side panel [of the net] twice," Drury coach Scott Botto said. "We couldn't get it between the poles."
Brandon Laliberte, Jeff Jurkowski and JoJo Coleman all scored in the first half for sixth-seeded Easthampton (13-5-1).
Kyle Bentley had four saves for the Blue Devils
Pioneer 3, Mount Everett 0
SHEFFIELD -- Eleventh-seeded Pioneer (8-6-5) got goals from three different players in a shutout win over No. 6 Mount Everett (8-8-3) in Division III.
Pioneer goalie Joey Larson was, however, the key to this victory. Larson made seven saves to keep the Eagles off the board. Max Maryschuck had seven saves for the Eagles.

Lenox 1, Pioneer 0
LENOX -- Lenox (11-6-2) dominated play and forced Pioneer (8-8-3) goalie Francesca Palazzo to make 23 saves. The Millionaires got only one goal, but that was enough to advance in Division III.
Storey Dyer-Kloman started the play, curling the ball into the box. Sara Plager flicked the ball with her head to Lizzie Wilkinson, who trapped the ball with her body and one-timed the ball into the net at 44:30.
"Our defense was making no mistakes, our midfield was controlling play and our strikers were getting good looks," said Lenox coach Matt Cote.
Kathy Prescott had three saves to get the shutout.
Belchertown 5, Hoosac 1
BELCHERTOWN -- Three first-half goals knocked ninth-seeded Hoosac (8-10-1) out of the Division II tournament.
The eighth-seeded Orioles jumped out to a 3-0 lead at halftime.
Cate Taras scored twice for Belchertown. Danielle Beauchemin got Hoosac's only goal. Melanie Blanchard had 10 saves for the Hurricanes.
