LENOX -- Lenox dropped only one set against visiting Pittsfield, beating the Generals 25-17, 25-16, 21-25, 25-12 to improve to 5-0 this season.

Kristin Read led the Millionaires with 30 assists and added five kills, five digs and two aces. Liz Mitts had 12 kills, four aces and six digs, while Lizzy Barry had 10 kills and ace and five blocks.

"We have nine seniors," said Lenox coach Ed Paquette. "We're pretty mature. Their ball control is getting better and better all the time."

For Pittsfield, Paige Hamilton had 10 kills and four digs, Sarah Koldys had six digs and Sam DeCarlo had 12 assists and four digs.

Lee 3, Mahar 0

LEE -- The Wildcats remain undefeated after their sweep.

Lee coach John Warner said he scheduled Monday's matchup against Mahar with "revenge on his mind."

Last season, Mahar defeated Lee in a close match during the Western Mass. playoffs. With set wins of 25-15, 25-18 and 25-12 Monday, the Wildcats got their payback.

Lee was led by Katie Morin with eight kills, two aces and two assists. Kendra Williams added two kills and nine assists, Courtney Picard chipped in with seven kills and nine aces.

Housatonic Valley (Conn.) 3, Everett 0

SHEFFIELD -- The Eagles struggled against a veteran Housatonic Valley squad.

The Eagles dropped sets 25-12, 25-12 and 25-15.

Everett was led by Kayla Krom with five kills and three digs, Ashley Shaw added eight assists.

Coach Dennis Sullivan said Housatonic is a very talented team.

"They're pretty strong ... they've got 10 seniors. We played OK, but they were hitting the ball very well."

Taconic 3, Wahconah 0

PITTSFIELD -- Nyanna Slaughter's 10 kills led the way for the Braves in a 25-12, 25-17, 25-11 win.

Alyssa Doerle added four kills and three aces for the Braves (6-2), while Kirsten McNeice had six aces and a kill. Haley Hubbard tallied six kills and an ace.

For Wahconah, Emily Jordan had four kills and four digs. Faith Pudlo added three digs, while Taylor Powers added two aces and two digs.
