WILLIAMSTOWN -- Strong pitching and timely hitting led Drury baseball to a 9-2 victory over Mount Greylock on Monday.

Tyler Briggs picked up the win for Drury. He allowed two runs in six innings, scattering five hits.

Briggs walked seven hitters, but Greylock stranded seven runners on base through the first three innings.

Shane Garvey's bases-loaded, two-RBI single sparked a four-run fourth inning for Drury. Schuyler Robinson led the Blue Devils with three hits and two RBI. Delaney Pudvar and Eric Hirsch each had two hits for Greylock.

"Briggs mixed up his pitches and kept us off balance," Greylock coach Steve Messina said.
