PITTSFIELD -- Pittsfield Post 68 rallied for five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to defeat South Berkshire 9-4 on Friday night at Clapp Park.

The rally included two walks, three hits and two errors by South Berkshire. The go-ahead run scored on a fielder’s choice and error on a ball hit by Brian Bonaquisti. The big hit was a two-run single by Mitch Clary, who had three hits.

Alex Carusotto, who got the win with three innings of two-hit relief, also had three hits including a triple and a double.

James Allentuck started for SouthBerkshire and allowed four runs in five innings. Ben Crine pitched the five-run sixth and took the loss.

The win was the third this week for Post 68, who will next play on Monday against North Adams at Joe Wolfe Park.
