WORCESTER -- The Worcester Bravehearts scored twice in the eighth inning to pull out a 5-3 Futures League win over the Pittsfield Suns on Wednesday.

The Bravehearts' win spoiled a strong start from Suns pitcher Phil Reese. Reese pitched seven innings, scattering six hits and allowed only one earned run.

Suns (16-12) reliever Blake Drew entered in the eighth and hit Shane Sandoval with a pitch. Sandoval and Dylan Harris came around to score on a single from Brendan O'Reilly.

Brandon Geary led Pittsfield with two hits. Dan Palazzo added two RBI.

The Suns host a doubleheader against Torrington today at Wahconah Park. The first game starts at 4:30 p.m.
