LACONIA, N.H. -- A ninth-inning rally lifted the North Adams SteepleCats to their second win in a row, a 6-1 victory over the Laconia Muskrats on Friday night.

North Adams (11-14) scored five runs in the ninth to break open a 1-1 tie. Ramon Valdez plated the go-ahead run, scoring Vladimir Gomez with a one-out single.

The ‘Cats got a strong start from Trevor Scott. He pitched seven innings, allowing only one run and scattering six hits. Jim Voyles earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief.

Zach Lucas led the offense with three hits.

North Adams returns home to face Keene tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Wahconah Park.
