The 50-voice choir will be conducted by Tracy Wilson and accompanied by organist Roger Claiborne, minister of music at the Stockbridge Congregational Church, and Lee Dixon on piano. The concert will be held at the Stockbridge Congregational Church, Main Street, Stockbridge.
The choral selections include two works by John Gardner: "Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day" and "O Little Town of Bethlehem"; "Bethlehem Down" by Peter Warlock; "A Spotless Rose" by Herbert Howells; "What Sweeter Music" by Wexford Carol; "Love Came Down at Christmas" by John Rutter; "A Spiritual Christmas" by Tom Fettke; "Sir Christmas" and "A Babe is Born" by William Mathias; "Welsh Lullaby" by K. Lee Scott; "This Little Babe" (women's voices) by Benjamin Britten; "Coventry Carol" (men's voices) by Howard Helvey; and "Infant Lowly" by Mack Wilberg. The choir will also offer a world premiere of Berkshire composer Alice Spatz's "The Year Turns Round."
Vocal soloists will be Carol Sica, soprano, Fran Stone and John Demler, baritones.
