BOSTON (AP) -- State police say one person has died and another is injured after a crash on Interstate 93 northbound in Boston near the entrance to the Tip O'Neill Tunnel.

Troopers haven't released the names of the victims of Sunday morning's crash. They say the driver who died was ejected from their vehicle, while the driver of another car is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of a third car involved in the accident wasn't injured.

State police are trying to determine if one of the victims was driving the wrong way on the highway.

The accident happened shortly after 5:30 a.m. State police closed the entire northbound side of the highway for less than an hour. All lanes were reopened shortly before 8:30 a.m.
