2 teens drown in Mass.

QUINCY, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say two teenagers have drowned in Massachusetts over the weekend while a 10-month-old baby is recovering after falling into a small pond in his family's yard.

Police say 18-year-old Roger Ladue Jr. of Templeton drowned after falling off a boat on Queen Lake in Phillipston shortly after midnight Sunday.

Hours later, on Sunday afternoon, 18-year-old Lamar Thompson of Quincy was pronounced dead at a hospital after getting into trouble after jumping into the water from a public pier near the Quincy Yacht Club.

The 10-month-old baby was taken to a hospital in critical condition after falling into a koi pond in his family's yard on Sunday. His name was not released.
