3 arrested after K-9 assists drug bust in North Adams
NORTH ADAMS — With help from its K-9 Unit, North Adams Police seized heroin and pills in a traffic stop on Thursday.
After pulling over a vehicle on State Street, officers allegedly discovered a stash that included heroin, cocaine, the sedative Diazepam, and cash, the North Adams Police Department posted on its Facebook page on Thursday morning.
The findings led to the arrest of Mark Lindner, Geneeva Lesage, and Riley Nolan, according to the post.
Police allegedly also discovered drug distribution paraphernalia inside the vehicle. The quantity of the drugs was not specified by police.
Lesage faces charges of possession to distribute a Class A drug, and conspiracy to violate drug laws; Nolan is charged with possession to distribute a class A drug, possession of a Class B drug, possession of a Class C drug, and conspiracy to violate drug laws; and Lindner was charged with possession to distribute a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Because Northern Berkshire District Court does not handle criminal cases on Thursdays, the three were not expected to be arraigned until Friday.
