42nd Adams Agricultural Fair: Demolition derby, truck pulls, horse and ox contests round out weekend
ADAMS, MASS. —Whether you go for the animals, the exhibits, the truck pulls or the demolition derby, the 42nd Adams Agricultural Fair has something for everyone. The fun begins at Bowe Field, Old Columbia Street (off of Route 8), on Friday, when the gates open at 5 p.m. This year, the fair features two days of truck pulls, with events on Friday at 6 p.m., and Saturday, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
On Sunday, enjoy an ox pull, a birds of prey program, sheep sheering demonstrations and demolition derby, which starts at 2 p.m. Admission: $8 for adults, $6 for children ages 6 to 18; free for kids 5 and under.
