A bright light who loved animals

Thursday February 7, 2013

When I read the Eagle Wednesday I was saddened to find out about the ordeal a cat had gone through before it was rescued. It brought to mind my dear friend, Beverly Trowill, who passed on February 4.

Beverly was a volunteer at the Humane Society who had adopted our cat, Chloe, to us six years ago. We became friends and spent many moments laughing together about life in general and anything else that tickled our funnybones. She was one of the bright lights in my senior years and will be sorely missed.

As the saying goes "If you can count your dear friends on one hand, then you’ve lived a rich life." I have many friends whom I love, but Beverly was one of those dear ones I could count on my hand. She was one of a kind and I will miss her.
