A loss of funds and visibility

Sunday December 2, 2012

We are very disturbed by the donation canister thefts. As the Nov. 27 article ("Stolen change hinders funding") indicates, we are the only feral cat rescue group in Berkshire County, and we rely solely upon contributions to continue our work for the forgotten felines of the community.

But in addition to providing needed revenue, the canisters are the face of Animal D.R.E.A.M.S. So it’s not just the loss of the money. Those canisters sitting on the counters of retail stores across the county remind folks (while they are shopping) that we are here.
