A wonderful gift from Lee school

Monday December 24, 2012

A couple of months ago we were informed by our granddaughter, Avery, a second grader, that she was going to be in a Christmas play. We never imagined the wonderful performance we were given by the Lee Elementary School Drama Club on Saturday, Dec. 15.

A terrific group of approximately 60 students gave an awesome rendition of Charles Dickens’ "A Christmas Carol." They were truly professional, recreating the play with perfectly delivered lines and Cockney accents. The songs were beautifully sung by these lively, talented children. The director and staff were wonderful and compassionate.

It was a fantastic way to start our holiday. We delighted in the joyous gift we were given that Saturday afternoon. We are truly fortunate that our granddaughter is able to attend this great school.
