LENOX -- The Tyler Aces plated nine runs in the first inning to take control of an American Legion season-opening 13-7 win over Lenoxdale.

"A very rocky start," understated Lenox Dale coach Brian Wade. "But we're just rusty. We're a good team."

Tanner Hanford's two-run double was the big hit in that first inning for the Aces.

Lenox Dale got some of those runs back with a five-run second inning. Ian Woller's double was the big hit.

Chris Robitaille socked a home run for the Aces in the fifth.
