Adams: C.T. Plunkett Elementary to host student art show

An art show featuring the work of over 600 kindergarten through sixth grade students will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at C.T. Plunkett School, 14 Commercial St., in the first floor hallways, the cafeteria and the art room.

This annual event showcases the work of all of the students at the school and is free and open to the public. Students who pre-registered for the event will have their artwork framed and on display in the cafeteria, however all of the students in the school, regardless of whether or not they pre-registered, will have artwork on display in the hallways.

Parents may choose to purchase the frames for $15 with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the school. There will also be a bake sale table with proceeds benefiting the Parent Teacher Group, a face-painting table and balloons.
