Adams' Jon Manley beaten in UFC 157 prelim

Adams native Jon Manley lost his debut match in the Ultimate Fighting Championship on Saturday evening.

In a preliminary bout of UFC 157 in Anaheim, Calif., shown on Facebook, Manley lost to fellow "The Ultimate Fighter" competitor Neil Magny by unanimous decision. Magny won 30-27, 30-27, 29-28. The match was also Magny's UFC debut.

Manley, a 6-foot-1 170-pound welterweight who fights out of Ludlow and is the head coach and co-owner of the Team Link Northampton dojo, is now 7-3.
