Adams: Legion Post 160 installs new officers

American Legion Post 160 installed new officers for 2012-2013 during a ceremony on Nov. 6.

The official giving the oath to new officers was George Oleen, First District of Massachusetts commander and commander of Post 340 in Sheffield.

New officers are: Anthony Donovan, commander; Keith McLear, senior vice commander; Anthony Smachetti, junior vice commander; Ralph Schwarzer, recording adjutant; David Smachetti, personnel adjutant; Paul Hutchinson, finance officer; Anthony McBride, chaplain; Gary Gattuso, historian; Robert Thompson, sergeant-at-arms; William Bradley, service officer; Ralph Schwarzer, pill box editor; and Donald Sommer, judge advocate.

Trustees are William Parkhurst for one year, Stanley Kopala for two years, Bruce Goyette for three years, and Donald Sommer for four years.
