Adams: Libraries to host BART information sessions

The Berkshire Arts and Technology Charter Public School is currently enrolling students in grades 6 through 9 for the 2014-2015 school year.

Families interested in learning more are invited to attend an information session from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at the North Adams Public Library or from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, at the Berkshire Athenaeum in Pittsfield.

The information sessions are open to all prospective students and families but will focus on the BART high school experience.

Limited seats are still available in grades 6 through 9; no new students are accepted into grades 10 through 12. The next enrollment deadline is noon Thursday, July 17.

All students will either be accepted or placed on a waitlist as determined by a lottery. More information is available at

Those unable to attend a session but interested in learning more may contact Enrollment Counselor Monique Nottke at (413) 743-7311, ext. 132, or
