Adams: Library to host poetry reading

Posted

Poet and North Adams native Linda Maselli Richardson will read from her first book of poetry, "Mama Picking Dandelions," from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Adams Free Library, 92 Park St.

Richardson’s book is about her mother, long-time North Adams resident Jean (Eugenia) Maselli, and is dedicated to all mothers.

A Bolton, Conn., resident for many years, Richardson is a member of the Connecticut Poetry Society and The Wit & Wisdom Writers Club. Her poem "Eagle’s Nest" placed second in the 2010 Al Savard Poetry Contest. Her husband, Ernie Richardson, was born in Adams.

All are welcome to this free event.
