Adams man pleads guilty to five counts of child pornography
PITTSFIELD -- A 32-year-old Adams man will be sentenced later this month after pleading guilty Wednesday morning to five counts of child pornography.
David Clerc admitted he was in possession of child pornography in January 2010.
Clerc was caught during an investigation by state troopers assigned to the District Attorney's Office and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The state ICAC is part of a federally funded network that focuses on catching child pornography on the Internet. In Massachusetts, the ICAC is coordinated by the state police.
Judge John Agostini released Clerc on personal recognizance pending sentencing on Nov. 26.
