Adams: Puppets to kick of summer reading program

Posted

Tom Knight Puppets will kick-off the Adams Free Library’s summer reading program, "Fizz, Boom, Read!," at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 26.

While Knight sings to prerecorded music tracks, puppets like Henry the Magician, the Little Elephant, Andy the Recycling Guy, and Allie the Alligator act out the stories of the songs.

Readers of all ages will explore all things science this summer. The summer reading program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, prizes, story hours, a reading club, and more.

Sign up online or at the library. Information: (413) 743-8345 or visit www.readsinma.org.

An adult must accompany children under 8 years of age. The library is located at 92 Park St.
