Adams: Susan B. Anthony Days kick off with temperance reenactment

Historian/re-enactor Dennis Farley will present "James White: Temperance Reformer" at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at the Adams Visitors Center, 3 Hoosac St. The dramatization will kick off the weeklong, townwide Susan B. Anthony Days celebration.

The July 26 history event is sponsored by the Susan B Anthony Birthplace Museum, and is free and open to the public. Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in this theatrical reenactment from the 1870s that launched Susan B Anthony as a reformer, fighting for the rights of those who could not fight for themselves.
