Adams: Town election papers available

Nomination papers for the annual town election are available at the town clerk's office.

Nomination papers must be filed with the town clerk by 5 p.m. Monday, March 19.

The following offices will be listed on the May 7 annual town election ballot:

Moderator, one one-year term; town clerk, one three-year term; Selectmen, two three-year terms; Assessor, one three-year term; Board of Health, one three-year term; Library trustee, two three-year terms; Parks Commissioners, three three-year terms; Planning Board, one five-year term; Cemetery Commissioner, one three-year term.

Also, Housing Authority, one five-year term and one one-year term; Redevelopment Authority, one five-year term, one two-year term and one one-year term; Northern Berkshire Regional Vocational School District Committee, one three-year term; Adams-Cheshire Regional School District Committee, one three-year term for Adams representative and one three-year term for Cheshire representative.

The deadline to register to vote in the town election is 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17.
