Alford: 'Jazz for Justice' honors legal clinic

The Berkshire Center for Justice will celebrate its 10 year anniversary with "Jazz for Justice" from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at "The Clearing," 247 East St.

The event includes music by Darren Todd and Friends Jazz Band, original poetry by Ted Thomas, wine, and hors d'oeuvres.

Established in 2006 as The Free Legal Clinic, the Berkshire Center for Justice provides Berkshire County residents with low cost and sliding fee access to the legal system.

A $35 contribution per person is requested. Tickets may be purchased with PayPal at flcberkshire.wordpress.com.
