Alford town election is Tuesday


ALFORD -- Voters on Tuesday will consider candidates for 10 elected offices at the annual town elections.

Voting takes place between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. at Town Hall, 5 Alford Center Road.

There is only one contested race. Raymond Wilcox Jr. and Larry Gadd are vying for a three-year term on the Planning Board.

Incumbent Selectmen Timothy Drumm is running unopposed for a three-year term on the board.

Francis Lauria is a candidate for a three year term as an Assessor; Michael Wilcox is running for a one year term as Moderator; while Susan Struzziero and Marion Ortwein are eaching running for three year terms as Library Trustee.

Roxanne Germain is a candidate for both a thee year term as Treasurer, and a three-year term as Tax Collector.

Judy Durlack is running for a three-year term on the Cemetery Commission.

There is no declared candidate for a three-year term on the Finance Committee.
