WASHINGTON >> Rising Son Records released this week "Alice's Restaurant 50th Anniversary Massacree," a two-CD recording of the sold-out tour commemorating the events that inspired the Thanksgiving classic anti-war anthem "Alice's Restaurant Massacree."

The double CD features the entire two sets of the performance as seen on PBS, recorded live at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield.

Accompanied by his son, Abe, on keyboards, Arlo is backed by a full band including long-time drummer Terry "A La Berry" Hall, guitarist and fiddle player Bobby Sweet, and bass player Darren Todd.

"Alice's Restaurant 50th Anniversary Massacree" is available exclusively through Rising Son Records at risingsonrecords.com.

The tour's next dates closest to the Berkshires are May 6 at The Egg in Albany, N.Y. and May 8 at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Conn.
